Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Tuesday, April 16, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (16/4/2024) at 19.52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, shallots, milkfish, pure beef, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, medium rice, red chilies, broiler chicken, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,410 (4.88%) to Rp51,790 per kg. Curly red chilies had the lowest price decrease of Rp3,440 (8.99%) to Rp34,840 per kg.
