Latest Food Prices in Jambi Region: Buffalo Meat Price Rises, Red Chili Price Falls

Prices of several food items in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (September 12, 2025) at 15:10 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include SPHP rice, milkfish, mackerel, garlic, and red bird''s eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dried soybeans (imported), packaged wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, broiler eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (foreign imported) commodity recorded the highest increase of Rp12,500 (13.89%) to Rp102,500 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dried soybeans (imported) saw the deepest decrease of Rp315 (2.58%) to Rp11,880 per kg.
