Household Goods, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance Costs in Tanjung Bulan Rose 0.03% in February

The price of components contributing to inflation of goods and services for routine household maintenance in Tanjung in February was 0.03%. This figure is higher than the previous month's -0.52%. Among the five inflation groups measured in this area, the group of routine household equipment, tools, and maintenance contributed 0.1% to inflation in Tanjung.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for routine household equipment, tools, and maintenance in Tanjung was at 102 in February 2024, higher than the previous month's 101.97.

Compared to the same month last year, inflation for routine household equipment, tools, and maintenance has fallen by 11.48% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, prices of components contributing to inflation in Tanjung have grown by 0.03% (year-to-date/YTD).

This inflation sub-group experienced the second-highest increase compared to other contributing inflation sub-groups.

The following is the inflation of the routine household equipment, tools, and maintenance sub-group measured by BPS for February in Tanjung:

* Routine household equipment, tools, and maintenance: 0.1%
* Furniture, equipment, and carpets: 0.63%

Compared to 133 other regencies/cities, the highest inflation for routine household equipment, tools, and maintenance occurred in Kerinci Regency at 0.1% with a CPI of 109.45, and the lowest occurred in Manado City at -0.19% with a CPI of 101.71. Tanjung ranks 68th.

As announced by BPS earlier this month, February 2024 inflation was 0.37% month-on-month and -7.52% year-on-year. Although higher than the previous month's inflation, this monthly inflation rate is not as high as the same period last year, which was recorded at 5.47%.
