Today's Food Prices (09/1) in Aceh: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in Aceh today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (January 9, 2026) at 5:47 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 3 increased and 7 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were premium rice, red bird's eye chili, and Minyakita cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk granulated sugar, curly red chili, shallots, broiler chicken eggs, and bulk palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp1,667 (3.45%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the sharpest by Rp10,556 (28.79%) to Rp26,111 per kg.

9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp23,500 per liter (down 0.42%)
10. Minyakita Cooking Oil: Rp18,900 per liter (up 0.69%)
