West Java Food Price Update Today: Chili Prices Rise, Rice Prices Fall (Sunday, January 28, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (28/1/2024) at 12:11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, pure beef, broiler chicken, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, premium rice, medium rice, Indian mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,720 (3.68%) to Rp48,430 per kg. Milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp960 (2.53%) to Rp37,010 per kg.
