Today's Food Prices (26/2) in Lampung: Bird's Eye Chili and Egg Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Lampung were observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 26, 2026) at 16:48 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 4 decreased in price.

Commodities that saw price increases are broiler chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, red bird's eye chili, and shallots.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as bulk palm cooking oil, curly red chili, Honan garlic, and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the highest by Rp1,911 (3.42%) to Rp57,833 per kg. Curly red chili prices fell the steepest by Rp930 (2.6%) to Rp34,778 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 16 food commodities in Lampung according to SP2KP Kemendag on February 26, 2026 at 16:48 WIB.

2. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp57,833 per kg (up 3.42%)
3. Shallots: Rp37,578 per kg (up 0.15%)
4. Large Red Chili: Rp36,538 per kg (down 2.23%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp35,000 per kg (up 0.32%)
6. Curly Red Chili: Rp34,778 per kg (down 2.6%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,774 per kg (down 0.14%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,028 per kg (up 0.16%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,644 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,333 per kg (unchanged)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,044 per liter (down 1.32%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,633 per liter (unchanged)
13. Premium Rice: Rp14,478 per kg (unchanged)
