Today's Food Price Update in Jambi: Rice and Oil Prices Drop (Sunday, January 28, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (28/1/2024) at 09.39 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, garlic bulbs, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, red chilies, skipjack tuna, medium rice, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,330 (4.56%) to Rp30,490 per kg. Meanwhile, red onion prices decreased the least by Rp1,040 (4.15%) to Rp24,030 per kg.
