Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Chili Up, Onions Down (Monday, January 29, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (January 29, 2024) at 13:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, shallots, Indian mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp1,380 (4.1%) to Rp35,010 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices decreased the most by Rp1,900 (6.37%) to Rp27,910 per kg.
