Bali Region Food Prices Today: Egg Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (August 22, 2025) at 06:23 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases are skipjack tuna, red bird''s eye chili, mackerel, Minyakita, and corn for farmers.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, premium rice, consumption salt, curly red chili, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Mackerel prices rose highest by Rp10,769 (27.45%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chili prices fell sharpest by Rp4,334 (15.66%) to Rp23,333 per kg.

2. Mackerel: Rp50,000 per kg (up 27.45%)
3. Shallots: Rp40,000 per kg (down 0.52%)
4. Milkfish: Rp40,000 per kg (up 7.46%)
5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,000 per kg (down 2.2%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,667 per kg (up 12.82%)
7. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp33,333 per kg (up 4.57%)
8. Curly Red Chili: Rp31,667 per kg (down 4.72%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,000 per kg (down 6.74%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,000 per kg (up 4.83%)
11. Large Red Chili: Rp23,333 per kg (down 15.66%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp19,333 per liter (down 0.52%)
13. Minyakita: Rp18,000 per liter (up 1.42%)
