Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday (12/5/2024) at 15.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, farmer-level corn, mackerel, chicken eggs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk wheat flour, curly red chilies, premium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp80 (1.56%) to Rp5,210 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,690 (4.48%) to Rp36,050 per kg.
