Food Prices in Jambi Region on Friday (5/9): Rice, Red Chili, and Chicken Meat Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Referring to the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (5/9/2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices are frozen buffalo meat (imported), pure beef, chicken eggs, mackerel, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, dried soybean (imported), consumption salt, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp215 (0.77%) to Rp28,000 per kg. Meanwhile, corn price at the farmer level dropped the most by Rp367 (5.34%) to Rp6,500 per kg.
