Average Years of Schooling for Bantul Residents Rises to 10.11 Years

The average years of schooling (RLS) for residents aged 25 and above in Bantul, DI Yogyakarta, was 10.11 years in 2025.

Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the RLS for residents in the region was below the average for DI Yogyakarta Province, which was 10.2 years in 2025.

Bantul residents' RLS increased by 0.3 years (3.06%) compared to the previous year's 9.81 years. Meanwhile, in the last five years, the RLS increased by 0.56 years (5.86%).

This RLS indicates that the average Bantul resident only attended school up to the 10th grade. This RLS is better than the national average RLS of 9.07 years in 2025.
