Rice Prices in North Kalimantan Increased by 1.92% in a Week

The price of rice in North Kalimantan was sold at Rp 13,300 per kg on Friday, January 28, 2022. Compared to other regions, the price change in this region was the highest in the last week.

According to daily monitoring of staple food commodity data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center, the price of rice in North Kalimantan has increased by 1.92% in a week.

Meanwhile, compared to the price 30 days earlier, the price of rice in this region has increased by 0.76%. This means there has been a significant increase in a month. Indeed, compared to the last year's prices, the current selling price of rice in North Kalimantan's modern markets is the highest on record.

For the period of January 2022, the price of rice in modern markets continued to rise, increasing by 0.76% compared to the previous month.

The price of rice reached its lowest point of Rp 12,850 per kg on Monday, January 3, 2022. The highest price ever reached was around Rp 13,300 per kg.

Nationally, the price of rice did not change towards the end of 2021. The average price of rice in modern markets was sold at Rp 13,070 per kg, unchanged compared to the previous weekend.
