Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra: Chicken Meat Price Rises, Chili Decreases

Some food prices in South Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (15/11/2025) at 13.55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 increased and 8 decreased.

Commodities with price increases were broiler chicken meat, garlic, milkfish, skipjack tuna, and red onion.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, Minyakita cooking oil, mackerel, red bird's eye chili, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna commodity saw the highest jump of Rp194 (0.68%) to Rp28,742 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chili, meanwhile, fell the sharpest by Rp478 (1.28%) to Rp36,891 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 23 food ingredients in South Sumatra according to Bapanas on November 15, 2025, at 13.55 WIB.

7. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp35,323 per kg (up 0.66%)
8. Garlic: Rp33,766 per kg (up 0.22%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,742 per kg (up 0.68%)
10. Milkfish: Rp28,404 per kg (up 0.37%)
