The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in North Maluku is the Highest Nationally (Tuesday, October 17, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 21,090 per kg, as of Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 21,180 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in modern markets in North Maluku was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 25,050 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 17,700 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Sulawesi, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) was sold at Rp 24,300 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in Yogyakarta was Rp 23,900 per kg, Jakarta Rp 23,900 per kg, and South Sumatra Rp 22,850 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 15 provinces with sales of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) are West Kalimantan, Jambi, and Central Sulawesi.
