West Java Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Rise, Fish Prices Fall (Saturday, December 9, 2023)

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (9/12/2023) at 09.16 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler eggs, garlic bulbs, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, mackerel, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulb prices surged the highest by Rp1,610 (4.73%) to Rp35,660 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel prices decreased the most by Rp4,360 (10.75%) to Rp36,200 per kg.
