Today's Food Prices in Lampung March 05: Red Chili Rises, Bird's Eye Chili Falls

Several food commodity prices in Lampung today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (March 5, 2026) at 16:48 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 7 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include Minyakita, curly red chili, large red chili, beef rump, and bulk granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken meat, chicken eggs, bulk palm cooking oil, Honan garlic, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp514 (1.72%) to Rp30,333 per kg. Red bird's eye chili prices dropped the most by Rp744 (1.35%) to Rp54,411 per kg.

5. Honan Garlic: Rp33,131 per kg (down 0.29%)
6. Large Red Chili: Rp32,769 per kg (up 0.95%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp30,333 per kg (up 1.72%)
8. Chicken Eggs: Rp29,050 per kg (down 0.15%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,667 per liter (down 0.11%)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,389 per kg (up 0.13%)
