Daily Red Onion Prices at Traditional Markets, January 2024

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in Bali Province is recorded at Rp36,000. This price is up Rp350 compared to the previous day.

Over the past month, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets has increased from Rp23,750.

Meanwhile, the daily price of shallots in traditional markets in Bali over the past three months has increased by 16.13% from the previous record of Rp31,000.

The highest record for the daily price increase of shallots in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in December 2023 with an increase of 118.51%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in December 2023 with a decrease of -53.44%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Bali show three commodities decreased and 23 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Chicken Meat, Medium Quality I Rice, and Fresh Chicken Meat.
