Today's Food Price Update in Central Java: Onion, Sugar, and Oil Prices Drop (Sunday, December 10, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (10/12/2023) at 13:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), mackerel, red chilies, milkfish, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most, by Rp2,840 (9.14%) to Rp33,910 per kg. The price of red chili peppers decreased the least, by Rp2,970 (3.36%) to Rp85,410 per kg.
