Java Island has the highest number of voters in the 2024 General Election.

Based on data from the General Elections Commission (KPU), the number of permanent voter lists (DPT) on Java Island currently reaches 115.4 million people, equivalent to 56.82% of the total national voters.

According to a Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas) survey, Ganjar Pranowo is the presidential candidate (capres) with the strongest electability on Java Island.

Ganjar also leads in the Bali-Nusa Tenggara region with an electability of 7.9%, followed by Prabowo at 6.9%, and Anies at 3.5%.

In Sumatra Island, Anies's electability leads with 30%, while Prabowo's is 24.2%, and Ganjar's is 11.5%.

Similarly, in Sulawesi Island, Anies leads with 7.5% electability, followed by Prabowo at 7.4%, and Ganjar at 5.3%.

In the Maluku-Papua region, Anies again leads with 5.8% electability, beating Prabowo at 4.5%, and Ganjar at 3.5%.

Meanwhile, Kalimantan Island is dominated by Prabowo, who has 8% electability, followed by Anies at 5.2% and Ganjar at 2.1%.

This survey was conducted on 1,364 respondents randomly selected using a stratified systematic sampling method in 38 provinces.

Data collection was carried out from July 27 to August 7, 2023, using face-to-face interview methods. This survey has a margin of error of approximately 2.65% and a 95% confidence level.
