Today's Food Prices (22/4) in Banten: Rice and Red Chili Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Banten today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) at 15.45 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are premium rice, curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, and large red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as broiler chicken eggs and red onion decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity jumped the highest by Rp833 (1.83%) to Rp46,250 per kg. Meanwhile, broiler chicken egg prices fell the steepest by Rp63 (0.22%) to Rp28,833 per kg.
