Latest Food Prices in Indonesian Regions: Buffalo Meat, Cayenne Pepper, and Red Chili Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (October 12, 2025) at 09.13 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 23 decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, corn at farmer level, consumption salt, skipjack tuna, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp482 (1.27%) to Rp38,323 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp4,458 (7.6%) to Rp54,202 per kg.
