East Java Food Prices, Monday (June 10th): Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (10/6/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, red chilies, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp680 (7.38%) to Rp9,900 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp350 (6.73%) to Rp4,850 per kg.
