Central Java Food Prices Wednesday (July 31st): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (31/7/2024) at 11:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), granulated sugar, milkfish, mackerel, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, red chili peppers, fine iodized salt, broiler chicken, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp850 (2.73%) to Rp31,960 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp1,050 (2.97%) to Rp34,290 per kg.
