Today's Food Prices (17/3) in Lampung: Prices of Bird's Eye Chili, Red Chili, and Onions Rise

Several food commodity prices in Lampung today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (March 17, 2026) at 16:48 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 9 increased and 1 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include rump beef, shallots, red bird's eye chili, curly red chili, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, only bulk palm cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili had the highest price increase of Rp1,375 (3.52%) to Rp40,472 per kg. As for bulk palm cooking oil, it had the deepest decrease of Rp213 (1.23%) to Rp17,056 per liter.

5. Shallots: Rp36,533 per kg (up 0.92%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp36,511 per kg (up 0.7%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp33,440 per kg (unchanged)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,878 per kg (up 0.94%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,678 per liter (up 0.05%)
