Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region, Sunday (21/7): Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (21/7/2024) at 10:51 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, livestock-grade corn, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, premium rice, pure beef, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Livestock-grade corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp930 (20.35%) to Rp5,500 per kg. Red chilies experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp1,700 (5.05%) to Rp31,980 per kg.
