Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (25/3/2025) at 17.09 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), skipjack tuna, medium rice, and table salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp4,170 (4.83%) to Rp90,579 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp1,252 (2.73%) to Rp44,563 per kg.
