Latest Food Prices in East Java: Prices of Chilies, Beef, and Salt Drop

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (23/6/2024) at 16.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, farmer-level corn, chicken eggs, milkfish, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase of Rp110 (0.7%) to Rp15,810 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most, by Rp4,120 (9.4%) to Rp39,730 per kg.
