Household Equipment, Utensil, and Routine Maintenance Costs in Sidenreng Rappang Regency Increased by 0.61% in December.

In December, the prices of components contributing to inflation in household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance in Sidenreng Rappang Regency reached 0.61%. This figure is higher than the previous month's -0.34%. Among the three inflation groups measured in this region, the household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance group contributed 0.61% to inflation in Sidenreng Rappang Regency.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for household furnishings, equipment, and routine maintenance in Sidenreng Rappang Regency was at 99.14 in December 2024, higher than the previous month's 98.54.

This regency is a new area included in the 2024 CPI calculation. Previously, referring to the 2018 CPI, BPS only calculated 90 regencies/cities. Starting in 2024, using the 2022 base year, the CPI is calculated based on the consumption patterns from the Cost of Living Survey (SBH) in 150 regencies/cities in 2022 (2022=100).

Historically, inflation data for this region has only been available since the beginning of 2024. Compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Sidenreng Rappang Regency have grown by -0.26% (year to date/ytd).

Compared to the other 11 groups, this inflation group ranks third.
