Top 10 Countries with the Most Billionaires in the World, United States Leads in October 2023

Forbes released a list of the world's 2,529 richest people across 77 countries in October 2023.

The United States had the highest number of billionaires globally as of Friday, October 6, 2023, with 744 billionaires.

In total, the richest individuals in the United States possess a combined wealth of US$5.043 trillion, or Rp78.830 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of Rp15,622/US$ on October 6, 2023).

China followed in second place with 408 billionaires. The total wealth of Chinese billionaires amounted to US$1.377 trillion, or Rp21.530 trillion. The wealth of individual Chinese billionaires ranged from US$0.95 billion to US$61.83 billion, equivalent to Rp14.92 trillion to Rp966.46 trillion.

India ranked below China with 173 billionaires and a combined wealth of US$759.06 billion, or Rp11.864 trillion.

Indonesia did not make the top 10 countries with the most billionaires. However, Indonesia was ranked 21st with 24 billionaires possessing a collective wealth of US$136.3 billion, or Rp2.130 trillion.
