Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region, How Much is Chili?

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (28/10/2024) at 10:50 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, shallots, dry soybean (import), SPHP rice, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, and Indian mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,260 (8.41%) to Rp29,140 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt saw the largest price decrease of Rp590 (5.03%) to Rp11,140 per kg.
