Today's Food Prices in Banten: Oil and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (October 9, 2025) at 1:20 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 16 commodities increased and 8 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include premium rice, corn at farmer level, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and packaged wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as fresh buffalo meat (local), pure beef, table salt, curly red chili, and dried soybean (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper saw the highest increase of Rp1,591 (3.8%) to Rp43,409 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the deepest by Rp1,046 (1.73%) to Rp59,409 per kg.
