Today's Food Prices in Jambi: Oil, Rice, and Egg Prices Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 3, 2025) at 11:02 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 saw an increase and 13 saw a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices include whole garlic, large red chili, medium rice, SPHP rice, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption sugar, milkfish, mackerel, premium rice, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The large red chili commodity saw the highest jump of Rp10,334 (19.38%) to Rp63,667 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level dropped the deepest by Rp600 (9.23%) to Rp5,900 per kg.
