Rice Prices in West Sulawesi Province's Traditional Markets Decreased by 4.36% in the Last Month

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the price of rice in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp13,150. This price is down Rp50 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the price of rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp13,750.

Meanwhile, the price of rice in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the past three months has fallen by 4.01%. According to historical records of food prices on the PIHPS price panel, the price of rice in traditional markets in West Sulawesi Province is traded at Rp13,700.

The record high for rice prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2017 with an increase of 12.72%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2017 with a decrease of -12.18%.

The PIHPS monitoring shows that the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Sulawesi recorded three commodities decreasing and 15 others increasing. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Red Chili.
