Today's Food Prices (23/1) in Indonesia: Egg, Oil, and Onion Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (January 23, 2026) at 02:24 PM Western Indonesia Time, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 6 commodities decreased.

Only Honan garlic commodity experienced a price increase.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, red bird's eye chilies, red onions, curly red chilies, and Minyakita decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Honan garlic commodity saw the highest increase of Rp100 (0.25%) to Rp39,400 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies experienced the deepest drop of Rp300 (0.79%) to Rp37,500 per kg.

5. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp41,400 per kg (down 0.24%)
6. Honan Garlic: Rp39,400 per kg (up 0.25%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp37,500 per kg (down 0.79%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp33,100 per kg (down 0.3%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,300 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,400 per kg (stable)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp17,900 per liter (stable)
