Today''s Food Prices in D.I. Yogyakarta: Red Chili Up, Onions Down

Today''s prices for several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta were observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (15/9/2025) at 12:44 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include garlic bulb, large red chili, corn at farmer level, curly red chili, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices for several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, Minyakita cooking oil, medium rice, packaged wheat flour, and consumption sugar decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Curly red chili saw the highest jump of Rp7,344 (18.1%) to Rp47,923 per kg. Red onion prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,187 (3.43%) to Rp33,438 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,917 per kg (up 0.79%)
8. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp33,692 per kg (up 6.51%)
9. Red Onion: Rp33,438 per kg (down 3.43%)
10. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,941 per kg (up 1.86%)
