Current Food Prices in Bali: How Much Does Chili Cost?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (16/4/2025) at 10:03 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 15 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, Indian mackerel, shallots (bulb), table salt, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, farmer-level corn, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Indian mackerel experienced the highest price increase at Rp3,052 (7.9%), reaching Rp41,667 per kg. Milkfish, on the other hand, saw the sharpest price drop of Rp4,944 (13.57%), reaching Rp31,500 per kg.
