Latest Food Prices in East Java: Buffalo Meat Up, Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (10/11/2025) at 12.46 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include fresh buffalo meat (local), bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, pure beef, and frozen buffalo meat (imported).

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as consumption salt, shallots, SPHP rice, Minyakita cooking oil, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Frozen buffalo meat (imported) saw the highest surge, increasing by Rp120,000 (inf%) to Rp120,000 per kg. Red bird's eye chili experienced the deepest drop, decreasing by Rp285 (1.29%) to Rp21,862 per kg.
