Agriculture, forestry, and fisheries contributed the largest share to the GRDP in 2023, reaching Rp1.92 trillion (Rp1,920,000,000,000) with a growth of 3.08%.
Next is the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector, which grew by 4.74% to Rp1.51 trillion (Rp1,510,000,000,000). The construction sector contributed Rp908.29 billion (Rp908,290,000,000) with a growth of 6.42%.
Rounding out the top five is the transportation and warehousing sector with a value of Rp457.5 billion (Rp457,500,000,000), showing a growth of 6.04% from the previous year's Rp404.41 billion (Rp404,410,000,000).

In terms of distribution, the main sector contributing the most to GRDP growth in Solok Selatan Regency is agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, with a contribution of 28.84%.
