Current Indonesian Food Prices: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (10/9/2024) at 11:45 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, red chilies, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase of Rp560 (1.51%) to Rp37,620 per kg. The price of red chilies experienced the largest decrease of Rp240 (0.66%) to Rp35,860 per kg.
