Complete List of Food Prices in North Sumatra Today, What's the Price of Fish? (Friday, December 8, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in North Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (8/12/2023) at 13:58 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, garlic bulbs, shallots, farmer-level corn, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), broiler chicken, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,380 (13.6%) to Rp36,580 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp11,420 (13.46%) to Rp73,430 per kg.
