The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in West Papua is the Highest in Indonesia (Friday, February 11, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 17,170 per kg, as of Friday, February 11, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 18,700 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in modern markets in West Papua was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 23,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in this province has not changed. The highest selling price ever recorded in this region is Rp 23,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Bangka Belitung Islands Province, branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) was sold at Rp 22,100 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) in North Kalimantan was Rp 20,500 per kg, Aceh Rp 19,950 per kg, and North Sulawesi Rp 18,800 per kg.

Meanwhile, eight provinces had sales of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices of branded packaged cooking oil (2 kg) were Jambi, Gorontalo, and Central Sulawesi.
