Household Goods, Equipment, and Routine Maintenance Costs in Pandeglang Regency Increased by 0.08% in September

In September, the price of household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance components contributing to inflation in Pandeglang Regency was 0.08%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 0.27%. Among the nine inflation groups measured in this region, the household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance group contributed 0.08% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance in Pandeglang Regency was at 107.71 in September 2024, higher than the previous month's 107.62.

This regency/city is a new area included in the 2024 CPI calculation. Previously, based on the 2018 CPI, BPS only calculated 90 regencies/cities. Starting in 2024, using the 2022 base year, the CPI is calculated based on the consumption patterns from the Cost of Living Survey (SBH) in 150 regencies/cities in 2022 (2022=100).

Historically, regional inflation data for this area has only been available since the beginning of 2024. Compared to the beginning of the year, prices of inflation-contributing components in Pandeglang Regency have grown by 1.42% (year to date/ytd).

This inflation sub-group experienced the second-highest increase compared to other contributing inflation sub-groups.
