Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Oil and Red Chili Prices Increase

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (12/4/2025) at 11:17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 14 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, shallots, pure beef, bulk wheat flour, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, bulk cooking oil, table salt, premium rice, and fresh buffalo meat (local) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of large red chilies increased the most, by Rp7,666 (16.97%) to Rp52,833 per kg. Table salt prices decreased the most, by Rp133 (1.15%) to Rp11,457 per kg.
