Banten Food Prices Friday (April 19th): Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

Food prices in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (19/4/2024) at 16.07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, and Indian mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, bulk cooking oil, shallots, premium rice, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of milkfish increased the most by Rp1,090 (3.41%) to Rp33,100 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies decreased the most by Rp1,320 (3.49%) to Rp36,540 per kg.
