Lampung Food Prices Week of June 16th: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (16/6/2024) at 12:25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, milkfish, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, Indian mackerel, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,400 (3.97%), reaching Rp62,890 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp210 (1.44%), reaching Rp14,410 per kg.
