Today's Food Prices February 05 in East Java: Bird's Eye Chili Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in East Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 5, 2026) at 18:05 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases are red bird's eye chili, broiler chicken meat, broiler eggs, and Honan garlic.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as curly red chili and large red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices increased the most by Rp2,849 (3.98%) to Rp74,485 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices decreased the most by Rp143 (0.47%) to Rp30,000 per kg.
