Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at Current Prices (ADHB) in Enrekang Regency in 2024 was recorded at Rp10.47 million. The GDP of this regency grew by 4.54% compared to the previous year's Rp9.65 million.
However, based on historical data, compared to the period after the COVID-19 pandemic, the growth in this region is not better as it recorded lower growth.

According to BPS publications, with a total population of 232.87 thousand people, the per capita GDP in this region was recorded at Rp43,962 thousand per capita per year. This per capita GDP ranks 295th nationally.
Of the 17 sectors driving the economy in this regency, the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector is the leading one.
The agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector in Enrekang Regency in 2024 recorded a value of Rp4.44 million. This GDP ranks first compared to the other 17 sectors. This sector grew by 5.59% compared to the previous year's figure of Rp3.92 million.
In second place is the manufacturing sector, which grew by 5.87% to Rp1.43 million, while the construction sector recorded negative growth of -1.45% to Rp1.18 million.

In addition, other sectors contributing to the top five are public administration, defense and compulsory social security with a GDP of Rp646.41 thousand.

In terms of distribution level, the main sector contributing the largest GDP growth in Enrekang Regency is the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sector with a contribution of 37.88%. Other sectors in the top five are the construction sector, wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, manufacturing sector, and public administration, defense and compulsory social security.
Meanwhile, the sectors with the smallest distribution are the Accommodation and Food Service Activities Sector, Other Services Sector, Electricity and Gas Supply Sector, Water Supply; Waste Management, Waste and Recycling Sector, and Business Services Sector.
