Yogyakarta Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Thursday, December 21, 2023)

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today is observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 13:21 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), dry soybean (import), milkfish, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, medium rice, chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp1,150 (3.29%) to Rp36,120 per kg. Red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp6,410 (8.57%) to Rp68,420 per kg.
