Latest Food Prices in Aceh Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Thursday, February 8, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (8/2/2024) at 13:24 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, mackerel, shallots, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, premium rice, bulk cooking oil, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp690 (1.98%) to Rp35,550 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp3,010 (6.84%) to Rp40,990 per kg.
